Muirwood Chardonnay

The Muirwood Chardonnay is a pleasant experience to say the least. It has a delightful fruity undertone that eases gently into a wonderful near-sweetness at the very end. It also has a great oaky flavor that pairs well with the lovely taste of peaches and pears. Finally, it has just a hint of Vanilla, which ties it together nicely.

I am not a fan of Chardonnay usually, and after drinking this wine, I couldn’t come up with a valid reason for my ill-favored feelings towards it. I purchased this bottle as result of a wine tasting at our favorite wine and spirits shop and actually paid more than I usually would pay. Moral of the story is, this is a great buy, even for those of us who aren’t normally fans of Chardonnay.
