Frontera Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

So I’ve tried many Frontera vintages, and really found them, in the words of Lord Peter Wimsey, “drinkable.” This was a disappointment. The taste was thin and tinny, the bouquet slightly flat and less than promising. Still, I persevered through 1.5 liters. It just really never got better. I pronounce this one a bit of a dud. It has a slightly bitter aftertaste and the fruit is never fully present.
